TESTIMONIALS

Words from clients and colleagues. Grateful for every one.

For those interested in considering doing business with Nick either as a CFI or in some type of coaching, training or transactional services with airplanes, Nick is the man. He is very meticulous, organized and dedicated to his deliverables. I would highly recommend working with Nick. He was my CFI for many months and I thoroughly enjoyed working with and getting to know him better.

Kevin, Pilot

Working with Nicholas was one of the most valuable experiences in my aviation journey, not just from an instructional standpoint, but from the mentorship and guidance he provided throughout the process. From the beginning, he genuinely cared about helping me become a safe, knowledgeable, and successful pilot rather than simply checking boxes or preparing for a checkride. What stood out most was how invested he was in me as a person. He regularly took time outside of lessons to discuss where I was in my training, my long-term goals, and the challenges that come with pursuing an aviation career. Those conversations became just as valuable as the flying itself. Through working with him, I gained not only an instructor but also a mentor I could trust for honest advice and direction. Nicholas was always transparent about his own aviation journey, including the struggles and lessons he learned along the way. That honesty made his coaching feel genuine and relatable, and he always took the time to explain the reasoning behind his advice and recommendations. As I’ve started pursuing Part 121 and Part 135 opportunities, he has remained a valuable resource in helping me understand how to become more marketable and successful in the industry. I would highly recommend Nicholas to anyone looking for mentorship, coaching, and professional guidance in aviation. He truly cares about helping people succeed both personally and professionally.

Bradley, Flight Instructor

I had the privilege of working under Nicholas Watters to get my commercial multi-engine add-on. From the start, Nicholas was a professional. Before getting right into the weeds of the Piper Aztec, he wanted to get to know me as a person and tailor his teaching in a way that was most beneficial to me. The training we did together was efficient, cost effective, and most importantly, quality. In the short time frame that I spent with Nick, I learned a ton and became a much better pilot! He is truly a great pilot, and an even better person.

Evan, Flight Instructor

I had a great experience training with Nick. He always went out of his way to make sure I truly understood what I was learning instead of just memorizing procedures. He’s extremely knowledgeable, patient, and  explains things in a way that builds confidence both in the air and on the ground. What stood out most to me was how much he genuinely cared about helping me improve as a pilot. I always felt comfortable asking questions, and he consistently made training enjoyable while still keeping a strong focus on safety and professionalism. I’d highly recommend him to anyone looking for flight instruction, mentorship, or guidance in aviation.

Ben, Pilot

I recently received my private pilots license from Stratos Aviation in Greenville, South Carolina. I met Nick as an instructor there. He was by far one of my favorites. Super down to earth, easy-going, very knowledgeable and a just great guy! He had a way of teaching each lesson in a very easy to understand format. Even when I would make a mistake, of course within the bound of safety, he would let me go through with it, then on the back side say, “Ok, this is what you did, but this is what you can do to make it better.” Teaching isn’t about beating your methods into your student; it’s about learning your student’s learning style and adapting to it - Nick is an expert in that.

James, Pilot

As his primary instructor for his Private Pilot License, Instrument Rating, Commercial Pilot License, and Certified Flight Instructor certificate, I have witnessed Nick consistently demonstrate an exceptional aptitude for aviation, passing all of his check rides in under a year - a remarkable achievement that speaks volumes about both his dedication to the craft of aviation, and technical skill and savvy in the cockpit. His CFI check ride was particularly noteworthy; the Wright Brothers Master Pilot-awarded Designated Pilot Examiner commented that it was one of the most impressive CFI check rides he has ever witnessed. This level of recognition is not easily earned, and it highlights both Nick's superior flying abilities and his unparalleled work ethic and drive to succeed. What sets Nick apart is his natural feel for the airplane and his precision flying. He consistently flies "by the numbers," ensuring safety and accuracy in every maneuver. Beyond his technical skills, Nick has an innate ability to gauge the needs of his students, adapting his teaching methods to enhance their learning experience. He exhibits great patience and understanding, qualities that foster a positive and effective learning environment. In addition to his technical prowess, Nick is a true team player. He embodies the spirit of collaboration, consistently supporting his colleagues while also stepping up as a leader when the situation calls for it. His self-driven approach and unwavering work ethic are evident in his day-to-day activities, making him an inspiring figure to those around him.

Nick is a natural leader and fosters a strong team-oriented environment. He excels at effective communication, ensuring that all team members are well-informed and aligned. What sets Nick apart is his drive and curiosity. He consistently seeks out new methods to achieve goals and is never content with the status quo. Rather than delegating challenging tasks, Nick takes the initiative to equip himself with the necessary knowledge and skills to get the job done, inspiring those around him to do the same. One of Nick's greatest strengths is his ability to connect with people on an individual level. He has a remarkable talent for finding the best in a person and forming genuine connections based on those positive attributes. This skill, combined with his approachable and easy-going nature, makes him exceptionally easy to talk to and work with. Nick maintains a consistently positive and optimistic outlook, demonstrating resilience in the face of challenges. His ability to maintain composure and not let setbacks discourage him is particularly valuable in high-pressure situations. Beyond his professional capabilities, Nick actively contributes to the community and creates a positive work environment for those around him. His caring nature extends beyond his immediate responsibilities, making him a valued team member.

Nick and I worked alongside each other for ten years. During the time I was fortunate enough to work with him, we had many challenging projects that we completed together. Even though these projects brought about demanding and strenuous situations, Nick always displayed consistency, maintained a level head, and worked through difficult tasks with perseverance. Nick exudes exemplary professionalism, demonstrates the highest leadership skills, and is extremely knowledgeable in the field. He adapts easily to new environments and can work effectively both with a team or as an individual. In addition to Nick’s technical skills and many qualifications, he is a person of integrity and reliability. Furthermore, Nick has repeatedly demonstrated his willingness to go above and beyond given expectations.  Based on Nick’s positive outlook, upstanding character, and proven performance, I am confident that he would be an invaluable addition to any team.

Thank you for reaching out to let us know about your departure. I’ve appreciated everything you’ve done for us in the last few years and want to wish you an amazing next opportunity. You deserve it. Thinking through the challenges you’ve dealt with at Morgan in the last few years and likely many more I don’t know about, I can say confidently that we would not have done as well as we did with Morgan products without your help. And I would not have, either. Again, wishing you the best.

Sara, Senior Manager

I was really impressed with how you handled the big negotiation this year. The results are phenomenal! It is abundantly evident that your holistic efforts to research and understanding the customer so well positioned our company in the best light in the customer’s eye. All the while, through all the difficult conversations, you maintained a strong & professional relationship with them. We need more of this strategic approach to our big contracts where the terms and pricing really matter a lot to the quality and sustainability of our business, and where we need to tread very carefully and still showcase to our customers the value that we bring to them.  I think you did this really well, and I’m really looking forward to working with you on bigger and better challenges moving forward! Thanks for a great performance!

Wendy, President

Thanks for the many efforts, the tireless approach, and the positive attitude – even in a very tough environment.  It is this type of approach that we talk about when we say, “Serve with Speed”.  I wanted to thank you and recognize you for exceeding what have been very high expectations. The experienced players have sent many compliments your way over the past few months so you are catching their eye as someone who delivers above the crowd and with complete confidence and humility. I can only say thank you and keep up the great work!  Thanks again!

Tom, President

I want to commend Nick for being able to articulate so well with the complicated customer dynamic.  He was knowledgeable of not just the grade, but the application and potential failure modes, and understood the delicate situation that we did not want to also cause any issues with the customer’s distributor partner.  As a former Applications Engineer I know how long a learning curve there is to a lot of these materials/applications, so I was impressed with Nick’s knowledge and also understanding of commercial ramifications. Just wanted to express my appreciation of Nick’s knowledge and abilities, and also how well he did in front of the customer, where there were some probing questions.   I think it speaks well of not just Nick, but our training program.

Rob, Sales Manager

I wanted to express our appreciation for the great work performed recently by Nick Watters during two carbon brush surveys in West Point, Virginia. Both of the surveys were performed during extreme heat and humidity and would have been very trying under better conditions. During all of this, Nick never complained or lost his positive attitude. His performance was very professional and that professional attitude has been commented on by the maintenance and engineering staffs several times. The depth of his reports and the precise nature of the investigation he performed are commensurate with someone with much more experience. His youth and enthusiasm belie his truly professional performance. Nick is not only an exemplary employee of Morgan, but has made Electric Motor & Contracting appear really good by association. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to work with Nick and we anticipate a productive partnership between EMC and Morgan in the future.

Jerry, Sales Manager
